This will be a small group class and is suitable for expectant parents and those with newborns and older babies up to a year.The class will cover the benefits of massage for you and your baby. We will discuss massage oils and ways to make massage part of your routine. Each class will cover massage strokes and techniques for your baby.
Class topics:
- CLASS 1: Strokes to promote bonding and connection, relaxation & sleep.
- CLASS 2: Tummy Massage helpful for Gas, Colic and constipation and to support the digestive system.
- CLASS 3: Focus on Faces helpful for sleep, nasal congestion and teething and to strengthen suck.
The class is relaxed so please feel free to feed your baby / change your baby and move around as needed.
Bring a yoga mat, baby blanket or towel and wear comfortable clothing. We will be sitting on the floor but chairs are available. If you are pregnant or if your baby gets tired or is not in the mood for a massage, you can always bring a doll / teddy or other toy for stroke practice and I will have a few demo dolls available to use as well.
**A minimum of 3 registered class attendees must be met for class to take place.
